Sea excursions and fishing

Guesclin Cove, visible and accessible on foot from the campsite, is a fantastic spot for surfcasting. For the more adventurous, but cautious, holidaymakers, several spots on the rocks are also accessible between Guesclin Cove and Pointe du Grouin. At the campsite reception, we provide daily tide times to help you plan your fishing trip.

The Sainte-Suzanne pond, located just outside our town of Saint-Coulomb, also offers the opportunity to try freshwater fishing. Remember, however, that you will need a fishing permit (available in day format) at the Café de la Place in the town center.

For shellfish gathering, the three regulated areas located between Cancale and the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel are perfect. You can collect various shellfish there, including clams. Please be sure to respect the regulations published annually. This regulation sets out the permitted periods and the size of shellfish that can be collected. You will find this regulation at the campsite reception.

Several companies offer boat trips to discover the walled city of Saint-Malo and its various bastions. It's a chance to see the city walls from a different perspective and feel the sea spray!

With the Bateaux Rouges company, you can benefit from a 10% discount on your ticket (code available at the campsite reception).
The Compagnie Corsaire also allows you to discover the Bay of Saint-Malo and more. This company offers trips to Cap Fréhel or day trips to Chausey.

Finally, these two companies, along with several water taxis, offer a shuttle service between the Dinan slipway (located opposite the Saint-Malo ramparts) and the Vallée slipway (near Dinard).

To discover the Rance River in its entirety, you can opt for a half-day cruise or a dinner cruise. Most companies can take you to the medieval town of Dinan, allowing you to explore the old quarter on foot before returning by coach.
