To enjoy fruits and vegetables sold directly near the campsite

  • The "Lupin Garden" in Saint-Coulomb: located in the Lupin district, 5 minutes from the campsite, this friendly, small-scale farm offers direct sales every week at set times. In the summer, a guinguette (open-air café/bar) is open, and during special events, entertainment and tastings are offered. Good times guaranteed! To discover their latest news.

  • The "Pré Bois" farm : this pig farm, located on the border between Saint-Malo and Saint-Méloir-des-Ondes, is at 10 minutes from the campsite. The animals are raised outdoors, and the products are processed on the farm, with the option to buy directly from the farm. The farm grounds are open to the public every day. A summer market featuring other producers, including market gardeners, is held there annually. See more about the Pre Bois farm.

  • The "petits fruits de la baie" : this farm located nearby in the commune of Saint-Méloir-des-Ondes offers field-grown fruit (strawberries, blackberries, currants, etc.). It is possible to pick them yourself, making this a fun outing to do with children!

To taste the seafood, and especially the oysters of Cancale

  • The "Viviers de la Houle" : if you'd like to enjoy a delicious seafood meal and order a seafood platter, we highly recommend Les Viviers de la Houle on the port of Cancale. They are open 7 days a week from 8 am to 7 pm. Discover more about Les Viviers de la Houle.

  • The oysters market in the port of Cancale : would you prefer to discover Cancale oysters, and in particular the flat oyster known as "Pied de Cheval" (Horse's Foot) ? If so, take advantage of a stop at the jetty during your stroll around the port of Cancale. The oyster market located directly opposite is open every day and serves shucked oysters ready to be enjoyed overlooking the sea... The Oyster market has its own website !

Renowned local delicacies and crafts

  • Raphael's jams : This small, family-run jam factory is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. Located in the town of Saint-Coulomb, just 3 minutes from the campsite, Raphaël's jams, made with meticulous attention to detail and the finest fruit, are available for online ordering and pickup directly at the workshop. If you're lucky, you might even get to visit the workshop during one of the three open house events held throughout the year... To learn more about this heartwarming family story, it is there.

  • The "comptoirs de Saint-Malo" : Don't be fooled! This biscuit and confectionery shop is well established in Saint-Coulomb, just a few meters from the jam factory. There you will find sweet treats, but also dried biscuits and superb infused rums, including the highly regarded "Malo Rhum".

  • The house of "Guella" : To stock up on good things and pamper your loved ones, we can only recommend that you visit this other biscuit and confectionery shop located at the entrance to Cancale from Saint-Coulomb. There, the chef will show you his workshop and perhaps even share some of his secrets... Don't forget to stop by the campsite reception; with our stamp, you can get a 10% discount on your purchase!

  • "Fleur de ciel" honey : If you enjoy honey, you should know that there's a producer located in the commercial area at the entrance to Cancale, just 3 minutes from the campsite. They offer a variety of flavors; we particularly like the buckwheat honey... Discover "fleur de ciel".

  • Spices "Roellinger" : Founded in 1982 by a family of cooks with a passion for spices, Olivier Roellinger named his first blend "Return from India," a reference to the 14 spices found in the port of Saint-Malo in the 18th century, brought back by ships of the French East and West India Company. Today, the maison Roellinger is internationally renowned and welcomes guests to its shops and Michelin-starred restaurants. Closest to the campsite, you will find one of its shops in the center of Cancale, next to the Maison de Bricourt.

  • The "craquelins" of Saint-Malo : How about those little puffed toasts with a light salty taste, perfect for pairing with your favorite appetizer dips? The Saint-Malo cracker factory has a shop in Saint-Jouan-des-Guérets where you can buy these little treats made in the corsair city!

  • C-Weed Aquaculture : this small business cultivates the edible algae in a 12-hectare deep-water concession off the coast of Saint-Malo Bay. To discover seaweed and its remarkable taste qualities, visit Mathieu Crustacés or the Saint-Malo Organic Cooperative.
